MY STORYHello! I'm Laurel LaCourse, the founder of Balance Healing Creations. I've been a licensed aesthetician and makeup artist since 2010. I am also a certified reiki master and have been practicing since 2012.
What I enjoy most about my chosen life path is being able to see and experience the shift in my clients' energy as we co-create. Whether this shift results in a new sense of calm, a new-found inner strength, or a realization of self-love, I feel blessed to be able to help someone discover and embrace such authenticity.
Being authentic is being beautiful, and we are all worthy of feeling beautiful with the skin we are in. I never apply makeup to cover anything up: I use makeup to bring out and enhance what's already there - your own natural beauty. And the energy that I use to do this is rooted in love, awareness, and mindfulness.

Balance Healing Creations is a New Bedford-based business that offers natural makeup, reiki healing and spiritual guidance services for weddings, bridal parties, photoshoots, individuals and more. We serve clients throughout New England, including Cape Cod and The Islands. We offer therapeutic art pieces designed to inspire and heal, beautifully crafted jewelry that channels positive energy and home decor items that foster a tranquil and balanced environment.
